We are located in Mombasa, Kenya off the coast of the Indian Ocean.
Timeline
1967 Gary Smiddy and Jean were married
1981 Gary graduated from Southwestern College.
1984-1985 Gary did post graduate work at the University of Biola & William Carey University.
1978 Gary called to ministry. Served as a Youth Pastor at Cactus Baptist in Phoenix, AZ
1981 Gary & Jean asked to lead a 3.5 month college trip to Kenya. Confirmed Gary's call to missions.
1982-1985 Gary & family returned to Africa. Served in Congo. Worked with pastors, taught Bible school. Jean worked as a typesetter for the largest Christian Printing Press there.
1985-1990 Re-assigned to Tanzania. Focused on Church Development and witnessing to an unreached people group.
1990-present Mombasa, Kenya.
About Us
Gary is the Director of Unreached People Group, Headmaster of Bible School, and Pastor of Crossroads Fellowship Church. He currently serves as a Trustee on the following boards: Citizens Against Drug Abuse, & Crossroads Fellowship Ministry.
His wife, Jean is also a Trustee on the Crossroads Fellowship Ministry board.
Daughter, Hanna is currently a student at IUPUI located in Indianapolis, IN.
Son, Nathan and Tina (Okken) were married in January 2008.
